80 knots/sq. in. Central Asia , mid 20th Century Regular price - $550. SALE $ 395. !! Includes Free Shipping in Continental USA
It is unusual to find a Turkoman prayer rug these days and, even more so, one from Central Asia. This rug dates from the mid-20th Century. Some of the design elements are found most often in Ersari rugs such as the animal horn pattern in the main border and the zig-zag (or triangle) used in the outer-most border. All wool pile, warp and weft with four side-cords wrapped in goat's hair; all natural dyes including aubergine and madder root. Every Oriental rug, carpet or weaving presented here
is guaranteed to satisfy the purchaser or a refund will be made upon return
of the purchased item(s) to Silk Road Ashland, OR 97520.
