While this prayer rug has the braided goat's hair 

side overcasting associated with Baluchi weaving, the motif 

suggests a Timuri origin. In any case, this is a nicely 

woven, modern prayer  rug with a fine flat weave (weft-float) 

finish at both ends. All wool pile, warp and weft.
