expound on the merits of this type of prayer rug! But, once more, I will say that this is a fine, fine example of great Tribal weaving. 
The clarity of the design due to the skill of the weaver is
something usually seen only in fine city rugs. On top of all the 
tremendous colors, quality materials and knotting, there are the numerous bands of flat-woven( khelim weave) selvedge
at each end of the rug. As with all good Kawdani pieces, the wools are hand-spun and naturally dyed; the sides are over-cast 
with a braid of goat's hair.
