I know that one of these days, I won't be able to offer
a prayer rug of this original quality. The fine workmanship,
and traditional ethnic patterns are becoming a thing of the 
past in our 'global' society. Basically, weavers can make
more money weaving for the decorative market so 
the incentive to continue age-old traditional patterns 
is shrinking. This piece is woven with hand-spun,
naturally dyed wools on a founation of ivory goat's hair. 
The three side cords are over-cast with black goat's hair.
